The Amazing Face, Ancient University, Jungle of Temple & Holy Clay - 4 Day Tour

Day 01-Itinerary

Morning, to experience the amazing temple face, Southern Gate of Angkor Thom, each side of the causeway is railing fashion with 54 stone figures engaged in the performance of famous Hindu Story; the myth of the Churning of Ocean. The terrace was named for the status of the ‘Leper King’ that sits on top. Preah Palilay, picture-square sandstone and laterite tower in a cool, shaded forest setting the eastern gopura displays some particular nice Buddhist-themed carvings.

Afternoon, visit Taprohm, the quiet and sprawling monastic complex is only partially cleared of jungle overgrowth. Offer some of the best “tree-in-temple” photo opportunities at Angkor Complex. Tanei, it is a jungle temple reminiscent of Ta Som and displays classic Jayavaraman VII artistry. Ta Keo, towering but plainly decorated temple-mountain dedicated to Shiva. It is the first to be constructed wholly of sandstone. Victory gate of Bayon Temple, it is one of five gates which guards the ancient city of Angkor Thom

Day 02-Itinerary

Morning, visit Banteay Srei Temple located twenty-five kilometers north of Angkor Wat This temple is the fabled pink temple of women, so-called because it is made of pink sandstone and considered a tribute to the beauty of women. Its small size, delicate carvings and remarkable state of preservation make Banteay Srey one of everyone's favorite temples. Its Apsara and male and female. Then it will be finished by visit Banteay Samre temple.

Afternoon, visit Floating Villag (Kompong Pluk), It is located at the south of the Rolous temple group, a scenic and enjoyable boat ride to see fisherman’s daily routine, floating restaurant makes a truly unique dining experience the village, and take boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the great Cambodian lake, one of the wonders in Southeast Asia. Old Market, the old market is the most visited, offering the deepest selection of souvenirs and curios of any of the traditional markets. There are souvenir vendors on all offering silks, silverworks, carvings, statuary, art, and handcrafts. Artisan d’Angkor is a training ground for unschooled rural youth between 18 and 2 years of age in skills that allow them to make a living from handicraft production.

Day 03-Itinerary

Morning, Start early morning tour at 4.30am to experience the beautiful sunrise at Angkor Wat , then start a tour at magnificent 12th Century, Angkor Wat. It is visually, architecturally and artistically breathtaking. Angkor Wat is a massive three-tiered pyramid crowned by five beehive-like towers rising 65 meters from ground level. Suryavarman II constructed. Angkor Wat is in the form of massive 'temple mountain' dedicated to the Hindu god, Vishnu

Enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant near the Angkor area or go back to the hotel for breakfast.

Afternoon, continue to visit Rolous Group. It was the site of the capital of Indravarman I from 877 to 889 AD. The three temples of the Rolous Group, Preah Ko, Bakong and Lo Lei, differ from other early temples in that they are made of brick with carved plaster reliefs.

Day 04-Itinerary

Morning, heading to visit Koh Ker temple, was constructed during a period of internecine strife within the Angkorian Kingdom and become the temporary capital of King Jayavarman IV. Then, you will travel through villages on the outskirts of Siem Reap to the mysterious Beng Meal Temple

Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant near Koh Ker Temple.

Afternoon, Beng Mealea, it is a Hindu Temple which is located about 60 kilometers from Siem Reap town. The jungle covers over a 1-square kilometer area of the temple and it was built around the end of the 11th century before Angkor Wat, but there is no inscription or details are unknown. With a very little restoration, you can walk through mysterious archeological sites with a sense of adventure. There may be no great sculpture, but it’s a great way to immerse yourself in beautiful archeological sites.

Optional: Sunset at Phre Rub Temple. It is an architecturally and artistically superior temple-mountain. It is beautifully carved false doors on the upper level, as well as an excellent view of the surrounding countryside.

Time Start: 8:00 am or 9.00 am at a convenient time. When the tour starts our guide and driver will come to pick you up from your hotel lobby.
